Jumpsuit: Self-Portrait (love this one too), Shoes: Asos (similar here and here), Sunglasses: Prada, Ring: Asos and a market (similar here and here), Bracelet: Tiffany & Co, Purse: MonPurse (similar)

Just as I reached my savings goal, a stroll around Myer's sales in the women's fashion department ruined that. Hello new Self-Portrait Scalloped Edged jumpsuit with beautiful lace work on the top and thick cropped flared pants. I reasoned my purchase through the typical notion of thinking about how much money I am saving with the discount and forgetting about the fact that I'm still left with a withdrawal in my savings.

Also happy valentines day!

Recently I disembarked a plane and left summer in Australia for winter in the USA. Whilst the phrase summer in Melbourne has varied meanings from heat waves to rain, I will still miss it.

This Summer was not filled with beach trips, it was instead filled with friends, family and lots of food consumption. For the first time in a long time, all my family are living together, including my very cute 19month old nephew. Finally, we are able to celebrate events altogether such as Christmas and birthday parties and it just feels nice to be with your family during those occasion.

I am definitely not a party-er but somehow I still managed to see friends almost every day, whether it was brunches, lunches, star wars marathon or a good old drinks nights at someone's home. I would take sitting around a dining table with your friends, music and beer over da clubs any day.

And last but not least food! Food festivals in Melbourne city were huge this summer. I attended and ate my weight in food at Taste of Melbourne, Night Noodle Market, food trucks placed around the city and other local markets. All I can say is that the fried bao with ice cream at the Messina stall was sensational.

That rounds up my summer. How was yours or for my Northern Hemisphere friends your winter?
