Prague: the "party" capital that also looks like the set of a Disney princess film.
The night we arrived in Prague each of us had to fill out a form with our personal details in case we got lost or something worse happened to us in the city. Our tour leader told us this was only mandatory in Spain during the bull runs and in Prague. Already I could see the party reputation living up to the name.
Whilst I enjoy a night out, I’m not the biggest party-er (I know it seems like quite a contradiction seeing as a went on a TopDeck tour across Europe). The night involved a bar with a pole and a five-story nightclub, however crazy times by me were not had, which I don’t mind all. My memory of Prague instead is the beautiful Charles Bridge and the castle lit up at night in the distance, oh and also the disappointing show at the astronomical clock #sorrynotsorry.
I’m not massive on travel souvenirs; I would have no idea what to do with 300 key rings or random objects that I probably won’t display. However, in Prague I caved and bought the typical tourist mini canvas painting of the Charles Bridge. I thought the city was so beautiful and so were all the paintings (even the cheap ones from the souvenir shops). Now it sits on top of the drawer and reminds me of a place I need to revisit one day.
